PAY RANGE

The Target Pay Range for this position is $150,800.00-$184,200.00 annually. The full Pay Range is $117,300.00 - $217,800.00 annually. At BECU, compensation decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, and education or training. Should an offer for employment be made, we will consider individual qualifications. In addition to your salary, compensation incentives are available for the hired applicant. Incentives are performance based and targets vary by role.

To join our dynamic team, we require candidates to be residents of CA, VA, NC, WA, OR, ID, AZ, TX, GA, or SC. If you're located in Washington state and within a reasonable driving distance from Tukwila, we are requesting that you come into our HQ on Tuesdays & Wednesdays.For those candidates that live outside the commute distance of TFC and in any of our approved remote work locations, this role will be remote. Remote or onsite, we are committed to ensuring you are fully engaged and included in our collaborative environment.

IMPACT YOU'LL MAKE

As the Senior Manager of Enterprise Project Management, you'll lead the charge in shaping how BECU delivers strategic projects and products. You'll manage a talented team of project managers and be a key driver in refining our enterprise project management methodologies. Your leadership will guide the day-to-day rhythm of delivery while ensuring consistency, clarity, and success across all initiatives. WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Set the Standard for Project Excellence: Define and evolve the EPMO's enterprise-wide methodology, governance, and metrics - ensuring alignment across all teams.

  • Be a Champion for Best Practices: Drive awareness, education, and adoption of project management methodologies across BECU. Inspire a culture of continuous improvement.

  • Lead the Agile Journey: Advance Agile frameworks in partnership with our Enterprise Agility team to keep teams nimble and outcomes aligned.

  • Drive Change with Confidence: Lead organizational change initiatives and coach others through transitions in process, tools, and approach.

  • Grow and Develop Talent: Manage a team of project managers - hiring, onboarding, assigning projects, and fostering professional growth through coaching and feedback.

  • Deliver with Precision: Ensure projects in the portfolio are delivered on time, on budget, and aligned with strategic goals.

  • Monitor and Guide Progress: Track key milestones, risks, and metrics, providing strategic guidance and escalation support when needed.

  • Ensure Accountability: Uphold compliance with audit standards and manage program risks with transparency and ownership.

  • Share What Matters: Provide clear and timely updates to stakeholders through portfolio reviews and reporting.

  • Collaborate and Problem-Solve: Act as a point of escalation to help remove organizational roadblocks and keep teams focused and empowered.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, business administration, or related field - or equivalent experience

  • Minimum 5 years of related functional/project management experience delivering complex projects and managing project lifecycles, plus 3 years of experience leading people, and understanding of Waterfall, Agile, and Scrum methodologies

  • Experience leading organizational change and improving project delivery orgs

  • Proven analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal communication skills

Desired Qualifications

  • Advanced degree preferred

  • PMP certification

  • Experience producing portfolio-level reporting and stakeholder communications
