Psychometrist I - Thompson Center

Thompson Center for Autism and Neurodevelopment

The Thompson Center for Autism and Neurodevelopment is seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Psychometrist to support psychological and neuropsychological evaluations for children and adolescents. This position plays a vital role in the assessment process by ensuring accurate test administration, scoring, and documentation while collaborating closely with interdisciplinary clinical teams.

Key Responsibilities
* Administer psychological and neuropsychological assessments to children and adolescents (parents may be present to assist as needed)
* Score assessments and prepare comprehensive data table summaries of all tests administered
* Document detailed behavioral and testing observations within two business days
* Participate in consultation with psychology and interdisciplinary teams regarding:
o Behavioral observations
o Test results
o Validity and interpretation considerations
* Attend weekly Psychology Team meetings
* Maintain interview and testing rooms, ensuring readiness and organization
* Manage and track testing materials and assessment tools
* Provide administrative and clinical support to supervising psychologists as requested

* Training center staff on standardized test administration
* Participation on the Crisis Prevention and Intervention Team
* Training in administration of the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule, Second Edition (ADOS-2)

Monday - Friday
8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

High school diploma or equivalent and at least 2 years of experience from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities can be acquired is necessary. Certifications as required by state/federal law or regulatory agencies is necessary.

Salary Range: $17.05 - $20.00 hourly
Grade: GGS - 007
