Title: Technical Business Analyst

Reports To: Manager of Enterprise Process and Project Management

Location: Full-Time, On-Site in Winter Garden, FL

Pay Range: $85,000 - $95,000

This information represents our good faith estimate of the base salary range for this position upon hire, based on available data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on geographic location. Individual pay is determined by additional factors including job related skills, experience, applicable education or training and other relevant factors.


Position Overview:

The Technical Business Analyst will lead requirements gathering and business process assessments across the organization, translating operational needs into scalable technology and reporting solutions. This role partners with business and IT teams to analyze workflows, define system requirements, and implement improvements that enhance operational efficiency and decision-making.

The role also owns the development of Power BI reporting solutions, strengthens data quality, and ensures enterprise systems support both current and future business needs. Success in this role requires strong analytical skills, stakeholder collaboration, and the ability to bridge business processes with technical solutions.


Role Impact & Core Contributions:

Requirements Discovery & Business Analysis:


  • Lead requirements gathering sessions with cross-functional stakeholders
  • Conduct business process and system assessments
  • Document functional and non-functional requirements
  • Develop process maps, use cases, and technical specifications
  • Translate operational needs into scalable technology solutions


Process Improvement & Systems Enhancement:


  • Analyze workflows and system usage to identify inefficiencies
  • Recommend technology and process improvements aligned with business goals
  • Support system enhancements and integrations across enterprise applications
  • Troubleshoot data and process flow issues


Data Analysis & Power BI Reporting:


  • Develop and maintain enterprise Power BI dashboards and reports
  • Design data models and automated reporting solutions
  • Translate complex datasets into actionable business insights
  • Improve data quality and reporting reliability
  • Support data pipelines and Azure-based solutions


Project Delivery & Implementation Support:


  • Partner with project teams to implement new systems and capabilities
  • Ensure business requirements are accurately reflected in delivered solutions
  • Support change adoption through stakeholder collaboration and training


Stakeholder Engagement:


  • Serve as liaison between business and IT teams
  • Facilitate workshops and solution discussions
  • Communicate insights and recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering or experience as a Systems Engineer
  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst or Technical Business Analyst in enterprise environments
  • Strong experience conducting requirements gathering and business assessments
  • Experience supporting enterprise applications and Integrations


Required Technical Skills:


  • Advanced Power BI development and dashboard design
  • SQL proficiency
  • Advanced Excel/data analysis skills
  • Business process mapping and documentation experience
  • Familiarity with enterprise systems and Agile delivery environments


Preferred Skills:


  • End-to-end dashboard lifecycle experience
  • Data performance optimization experience
  • Experience supporting ERP or CRM platforms (JD Edwards, Oracle CRM, etc.)
  • Exposure to Azure or cloud data environments
