Summary

This position will work with upstream dealers, fixed income salespeople and their clients to facilitate the purchase and sale of municipal fixed income securities and funding. The Managing Director is responsible for enforcing the firm's policies and procedures to ensure compliance with the rules and regulations set forth by regulatory agencies.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Execute trades in alignment with internal trading processes & procedures

  • Collaborate with Managing Director of Sales and Strategies as needed with Registered Reps and supervisory activities

Qualifications

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree

Minimum Experience

  • 5+ years of securities industry related experience

Licenses & Certifications

  • SIE, Series 7 or Series 52 required.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

  • Must have a strong working knowledge of banking, bank eligible fixed income products, bank investment strategy, asset/liability management and the bank regulatory environment.
  • Must possess a thorough understanding of bond markets, the economy and interest rate correlations.
  • Must be familiar with Bloomberg trading systems, email systems, Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Internet Explorer, and basic personal computer skills.

  • Office: This position reports to a physical Company location, and the setting will be a typical office environment.
  • Remote or hybrid: For remote or hybrid positions, a secure and distraction-free setting is required, with a reliable internet connection (cable or fiber preferred, mobile hotspots not acceptable). Hybrid positions will report to a physical Company location, as directed by the manager, and that setting will be a typical office environment.
