Overview The AVP, New Talent Strategies will lead thehighly criticalrecruitment function across Duke University Health System, (DUHS), designed to strategically attract, hire, andretaintop talent in a rapidly growing organization situated in a competitive market. As the recruiting leader for the health system, the AVP will develop, drive, andexecute ontalent acquisition strategies acrossall ofDUHS, from entry-level hires to finding strategic leaders across all departments. S/he will serve as the primary advisor to senior leadership on talent acquisition initiatives, delivering a strategic consultative approach to the organization by providing relevant best practices and market insights to meet a high volume of diverse requirements across the organization. Beyond leading the talent acquisition team for the health system, this leader will be adept at building high-trust partnerships with management and internal customers, in addition to having a passion for building world-class candidate experience in a fast-paced, high-growth market. This leader will partner, onboard and assimilate new hires as well as develop key strategies to retain key talent. The AVP, New Talent Strategies will be a natural people leader, skilled in building great teams and defining strategy, developing processes and managing by fact, and leveraging data and analytics to ensure DUHS' recruiting engine is running efficiently. This position reports to the Vice President of Human Resources Operations to advance the mission of the health system. Also critical to this role is to maintain a strong partnership with Duke University Talent Acquisition, Administrative Systems Management and HR colleagues. Key Responsibilities
