Purpose of the Role
The Housekeeping Superintendent leads and directs housekeeping and site services trade activities in support of Worley's commitment to delivering safe, efficient, and sustainable projects across the energy, chemicals, and resources sectors. The role provides visible leadership on construction sites, ensuring that work is planned and executed in alignment with project objectives, customer expectations, and Worley's purpose of delivering a more sustainable world. This position is accountable for coordinating workface activities, optimizing productivity, protecting health, safety and the environment, and maintaining quality and cost performance while fostering a culture of inclusion, respect, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
Provide leadership to a large group of forepeople and trade personnel engaged in housekeeping and site support activities, promoting Worley values and a strong safety culture across all work fronts.
Plan, schedule, and coordinate construction activities to ensure alignment with project priorities, sustainability commitments, and customer requirements.
Allocate and balance manpower to maintain effective coverage for scheduled construction tasks while monitoring efficiency and productivity of crews.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental requirements, reinforcing safe work practices and proactive hazard management.

Communicate effectively with construction management teams, customers, and internal stakeholders to resolve issues and drive collaborative outcomes.
Identify and address conflicts or performance concerns in a timely and professional manner.

Contribute to the improvement and development of new methods and processes that support Worley's ambition to be a leader in sustainability solutions.

Qualifications / Skillset
Extensive construction experience within energy, chemicals, resources, or related industrial sectors, with demonstrated capability at journey level where certification is required.
Proven ability to lead large multidisciplinary housekeeping or site services crews in complex construction environments.
Strong understanding of workface planning, scheduling, cost control, and quality management principles relevant to major projects.
Comprehensive knowledge of health, safety, and environmental practices with the ability to embed these requirements into daily operations.
Experience allocating resources and monitoring manpower efficiency to support balanced and sustainable project delivery.
Well-developed communication skills with the ability to influence, persuade, and build collaborative relationships across diverse teams.
Capability to work with self-initiated interaction and to operate effectively with broad objectives and limited supervision.
Sound judgement in decision making with awareness of how activities impact other disciplines and project outcomes.
Advanced understanding of trade-related systems, processes, and digital tools, with the ability to troubleshoot issues and support continuous improvement.
Commitment to Worley's purpose, ambition, and promise, demonstrating behaviors that support sustainable transformation for customers and communities.
