SUMMARY/JOB PURPOSE: The Procurement Analytics team within Strategic Sourcing & Procurement (SS&P) enables data-driven decision-making by delivering clear analytics and reporting across team operations, vendor master data, vendor spend, source-to-pay processes, and travel & expense (T&E) workflows. The team's objective is to improve data quality, insights, and transparency to streamline procurement processes, enhance sourcing decisions, mitigate risk, and strengthen cross-functional collaboration. Key partners include Finance (FP&A leads forecasting and budgeting), Accounting, IT, various Business Units, and within SS&P department to implement spend management strategies. ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Analytics Strategy & Execution
- Support maintaining the SS&P master data to ensure data integrity, visibility, and actionable insights throughout the vendor lifecycle, including onboarding, classification, spend analysis, and relationship management.
- Perform checks to ensure record accuracy and compliance. Collaborate with Procurement colleagues to resolve data issues.
- Conduct data-driven analysis of spend to improve visibility and support procurement decisions.
- Contribute and assist in making data improvements for classification, integrity, and enrichment.
- Contribute to standardizing team metrics & reporting.
- Manage dashboards to track team performance metrics.
- Participate in innovation to foster continuous improvements.
Spend Management & Strategic Insights
- Help colleagues integrate financial analytics outputs into daily workflow by supporting to adoption
- Provide data-driven financial analysis to inform vendor negotiations and category decisions.
- Analyze spend data to identify cost-saving opportunities and risks; provide actionable insights for sourcing decisions.
- Support sourcing colleagues with market research analysis
- Maintain integrity of procurement master data throughout the vendor engagement lifecycle for reliable reporting.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Change Management
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure effective use of procurement master data, spend, and T&E data.
- Support change management strategies to drive stakeholder adoption of data attributes and reporting tools.
- Support change management strategiesto drive stakeholder adoption and leadership alignment.
- Assist in tracking vendor expenses, change orders, accruals, and forecasts to ensure data integrity.
Process Optimization & Data Integration
- Assist in implementing solutions that enhance efficiency, improve data accuracy, and strengthen analytics capabilities by supporting configuration, testing, and documentation efforts
- Partner with SS&P Systems team to enable data integrations and upgrades supporting master data management.
- Assist in automating reports
- Deliver training and problem-solving assistance to other team members.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS: Education:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 7 years of related experience; or
- Associate's degree and 9 years of experience; or
- Equivalent combination of education and years of experience
Experience:
- Experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech is preferred.
- Hands-on experience in outside spend analytics desirable.
- Familiarity with Ariba, SAP S4 Hana, including in vendor master and procurement related modules preferred.
- Experience with Tableau or equivalent reporting applications preferred.
- Intermediate Excel experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Intermediate technical foundation in financial spend and business process analytics and methodologies.
- Intermediate knowledge of applicable financial regulations (e.g., Sarbanes-Oxley Act, GAAP).
- Advanced understanding of the necessity of Vendor Master and PO metadata.
- Familiarity with financial and operational processes including, but not limited to budgeting, accruals, forecasting, financial analyses, financial reporting, capital expenditures, invoicing, payment terms, and purchase requisitions/purchase orders.
- Intermediate skills in MS Office suite of applications.
- Intermediate analytical and problem-solving skills to address challenges in a collaborative environment.
- Intermediate understanding of procurement functions to actively contribute to process improvements.
- Intermediate to advanced demonstration of integrity, ownership, and a results-driven mindset.
- Must have strong ability to focus on details and provide high-quality deliverables.
- Intermediate ability to balance teamwork with independent initiative.

Work Environment/Physical Demands: Our office is a modern, open-plan space that foster collaborations and creativity. Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across severalU.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The base pay range for this positionis $125,000 - $176,500 annually. The base pay range may take into account the candidate's geographic region, which will adjust the pay depending on the specific work location. The base pay offered will take into account the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, experience and internal equity, among other factors.
