The Fee for Service Staff Psychologist performs the function of specialized couples and family consultant for Pavilion patients.
* Psychologist will meet with patient and family at the request of the treatment team to provide family and/or couples consultation
* Documents in the record the consult report including treatment recommendations
* Communicates findings to the treatment team and attends rounds and case conference as needed.

Qualifications - External

Degree: PhD or PsyD

License: License to practice medicine in the Commonwealth of MA

Experience: 3 to 4 years of post-licensure experience

- Excellent clinical interviewing and assessment/therapy skills to work with patients and families.
- Adjusting actions in relation to others' actions.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Strong quantitative analytical abilities.
- Ability to recognize medical conditions and refer for appropriate care.
- Proficient in therapeutic techniques.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Ability to prioritize and respond to multiple demands as well as to manage time effectively.
