The Senior Financial Analyst coordinates the preparation of budgets, tracks performance and reports results for individual contracts, Accounts, and/or Business Areas. Provides financial support to the business, including but not limited to cost accounting, revenue recognition, financial management, at risk coordination, forecasting, variance analysis, invoice preparation/review and cash flow management (to include timely unbilled analysis/reconciliations). Interfaces regularly with project managers, account managers and business area directors. Mentors' employees engaged in finance/accounting activities.

Education
Bachelor's Degree Related Field of Study required

Master's Degree preferred

Licenses and Credentials

Experience
Experience in accounting or finance 3-5 years required Experience in a role within a large healthcare organization 3-5 years preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Ability to analyze, consolidate, and interpret accounting data.

- Strong business acumen, especially in the areas of finance processes and systems.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data, identify trends, and provide strategic recommendations.
- Strong hands-on technical skills (MS Excel, financial systems, FP&A, cost accounting, cash flows) with strong operational orientation.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex financial information to various stakeholders.
- In-depth knowledge of financial principles, accounting practices, and budgeting techniques.
