A Taste of What You'll Do We are seeking a Controls Technician I in Gallo's Modesto Warehouse Maintenance department to work under minimal supervision to maintain, install, and troubleshoot plant instrumentation and control systems that keep production running smoothly. Use basic programming and troubleshooting skills with PLCs, HMIs, AssetCenter/RS Linx, and electrical test equipment to diagnose issues, replace failed electrical components, upload/download PLC and HMI files, and execute PLC code changes with guidance from experienced technicians. Support operations and maintenance with cross-functional assignments, communicate status of active work, and document technical findings to help reduce downtime. Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying modification opportunities, participating in cross-functional teams for capital projects and product commercialization, and supporting the development of ideas and concepts. Ensure all work complies with GMP, safety, quality, environmental, and regulatory requirements; maintain satisfactory attendance and timeliness. When accountable for others' work, ensure team understanding and compliance with applicable standards. We are seeking candidates who have professional experience of troubleshooting PLC's using a laptop, and are familiar with performing uploads/downloads and minor code changes. Candidates should bring a practical, safety-first mindset, strong troubleshooting instincts, and a willingness to collaborate across teams. Technical familiarity with Allen-Bradley products, HMIs, AssetCenter/RS Linx, and basic electrical knowledge of industrial process controls will support success in this role. What You'll Need
