Could you be the full-time Turnkey Project Engineering Manager in Pittsburgh, PA, US we're looking for? Take on a new challenge and apply your extensive project engineering and leadership expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You'll work alongside collaborative and dynamic teammates. You'll lead and deliver the technical scope of complex and exciting Turnkey APM projects, ensuring quality, cost, and delivery commitments are met. Day-to-day, you'll work closely with cross-functional teams across the business (Project Core Team, Engineering Teams, Quality and Safety Managers, and Regional Centers), manage the technical design and configuration of systems, and oversee risk mitigation plans, and much more. We'll look to you for:
Managing the technical contractual scope of the project and ensuring customer acceptance of the project solution,
Managing project technical risks and implementing corresponding mitigation plans,
Overseeing changes within the project, raising variation orders in conjunction with the Project Manager if required,
Validating technical design choices with peers and the Solution Director,
Identifying applicable regulations in the customer country/city and ensuring compliance in project solution design,
Customizing and configuring the generic solution to meet Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Performance (QCDP) commitments,
Supervising Verification & Validation activities and ensuring adherence to Engineering Work Package QCDP,
Functionally leading the project engineering team and allocating tasks across team members,
Managing interfaces with the project core team to provide technical documentation and support execution of technical activities,
Supporting the Design for Quality (DFQ) process and resolving technical issues detected by core team members.

Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (Bachelor's required; Master's preferred),
Minimum 10 years' full cycle engineering project experience (execution-focused project management and system integration),
- Rail industry experience strongly preferred; exceptional candidates from other industries (or with military leadership background) may be considered,
Familiarity with managing technical risks and mitigation plans,
Hands-on experience in technical or hierarchical team management,
Customer relationship and interfacing skills,
Cost and planning control experience within engineering scope,
Product safety awareness,
Demonstrated teamwork, leadership, and adaptability skills.
