Position Overview

Responsible for the coordination and implementation of campaign tasks and activities, reporting on campaign progress, and performing other campaign duties as determined. Reports to the Associate Vice President, Development.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in related field and three years of related experience.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

* Experience with project management tools and their effective use in managing projects.
* Understanding of project management principles.
* Ability to manage projects across organizational boundaries to successfully complete projects.
* Excellent oral and written communications capabilities.
* Demonstrated ability to produce reports and weekly updates to management.

Preferred Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree preferred.
* Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive fundraising experience, with a proven record in major gift solicitation and campaign management.
* Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
* Ability to inspire and motivate stakeholders toward a shared vision.
* Proficiency in fundraising databases and CRM systems.

Job Duties



  • Collaborates with the Associate Vice President, Development, and Advancement Leadership team, along with external consultants as needed to develop an overall strategic plan for an integrated campaign model that supports the mission of the University.
  • Assists leaders and teams in planning, coordinating, and managing tasks and projects as a part of a multi-year, multi-faceted fundraising campaign.
  • Working with other team leaders, monitors and updates the campaign plan and prepares regular progress reports on completion status of campaign tasks. Schedules and supports Campaign meetings and donor strategy sessions.
  • In collaboration with other team leaders, plans, coordinates, and manages campaign activities including campaign volunteer meetings, campus-wide Campaign education summits and a comprehensive program of volunteer recruitment, training, and development. Assists with recruiting, training, and managing Campaign volunteers.
  • Manages budget with leadership for campaign activities/events, stewardship and other items as needed for success.

Work Schedule

Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm; Typical 40-hour work week with possible flex-time schedule and hybrid work opportunities.
