Key Responsibilities
- Conduct daily pre-trip safety inspections and report or perform minor adjustments. - Safely load, unload, rearrange, and maneuver vehicles using front-end loader/forklift. - Verify stock numbers using computer screens or handheld devices. - Move vehicles to staging, sale lanes, storage, and mechanical/inspection bays. - Assist with loading vehicles onto transport trucks. - Support lot readiness including repositioning vehicles. - Plow snow or perform weather-related cleanup as required. - Maintain safe operation and awareness of surroundings. - Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members. Minimum Qualifications - High School Diploma or GED. - 3 years relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience. - Valid driver's license with safe driving record. - Ability to pass PIT training and OSHA-compliant certification. - Strong visual acuity and hazard awareness. Preferred Qualifications - 1-3 years experience operating heavy equipment. - Basic computer skills and ability to use handheld operational devices. - Strong communication and organizational skills. - Commitment to high-quality customer service. Physical & Environmental Requirements - Frequent walking, standing, bending, stooping, and climbing. - Ability to work outdoors in extreme weather. - Ability to operate heavy equipment in tight or high-traffic areas. USD 22.02 - 33.08 per hour Compensation: Hourly base pay rate is $22.02 - $33.08/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program. Benefits: Employees are eligible to receive a minimum of sixteen hours of paid time off every month and seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Employees are also eligible for additional paid time off in the form of bereavement leave, time off to vote, jury duty leave, volunteer time off, military leave, and parental leave.
