Medical Scribe Reston, VA Pay From: $19 per hour MUST: Medical Scribe must have experience: Strong medical terminology experience Have EMR experience Experience working in an outpatient setting is a plus One year of medical scribe experience Strong typing skills Must possess sound judgment, good communication and business acumen skills DUTIES: Shadow a physician and document all of his patient notes Process patient referrals Assist the physician with patient call backs Obtains consent forms from patients, when necessary Schedules lab appointments or tests as ordered by physicians Ordering necessary medical supplies Acts as a liaison between the physician and the patient as needed Contacts patients with test results, as directed by the physician Files tests, lab results, charts, etc. Follows all clinic policies, procedures and work rules, as established from time to time by clinic management *Quadrant, Inc. is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.
