This position is National Remote. You'll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. For all hires in Minneapolis, Virginia, Maryland, or Washington, D.C. area, you will be required to work in the office for a minimum of four (4) days per week.

This position is full-time, Monday - Friday. Employees are required to work within our normal business hours of 8:00am - 5:00pm CST. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work beyond the traditional 40-hour work week and/or weekends.

We offer 6 weeks of on-the-job training. The hours of the training will be aligned with your schedule.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Draft and negotiate non disclosure agreements (NDA) with customers and their vendors, consultants etc. Explain the company's position and rationale on contract terms (legal, business and financial) and develop appropriate compromises in NDA language while maintaining compliance with legal and business requirements, relevant data management policies and laws/regulations.
  • Manage multiple contract priorities for a complex customer caseload.
  • Produce required NDA documents meeting expectations of timeliness and quality.
  • Communicate risk and explain NDA language, terminology and United data sharing policies appropriately to sales and other business partners.
  • Apply systems and technology to administer the NDA process.
  • Lead and/or participate in special projects/assignments as required.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma / GED
  • Must be 18 years of age OR older
  • 3+ years experience in health care insurance with proficiency in business operations.
  • Ability to produce a high volume of documents under tight deadlines is essential.
  • Work with NDAs preferred
  • 2+ years experience negotiating contract documents.
  • Project management, analysis and teamwork skills.
  • Ability and desire to work in a highly dynamic fast-paced environment, within tight deadlines while quickly shifting priorities, serving multiple customers and managing multiple assignments.
  • People management skills; clear and honest communication practices; ability to communicate and work well with people at all levels.
  • Ability in expressing ideas and influencing others and building consensus among many stakeholders.
  • Ability to work well independently utilizing good judgment and decision making skills.
  • Written, verbal and presentations skills.
  • Ability to work fulltime, Monday - Friday. Employees are required to work within our normal business hours of 8:00am - 5:00pm CST. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work beyond the traditional 40-hour work week and/or weekends.

Telecommuting Requirements:

  • Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable)
  • Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy.
  • Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service.

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you'll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $72,800 - $130,000 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
