Position Details:

  • Location: Based out of 3 Farm Glenn Boulevard, Farmington, CT, 06032
  • Schedule: Full time, 40 hours/weekly. Monday through Friday, hours 8:00AM - 5:00PM

Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Schedule Template Manager to join our team. This role is responsible for understanding patient demand and ensuring clinician schedule templates are in alignment with patient and operational needs. This role ensures the creation, communication, and schedule template adjustment to meet the needs of our organization. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments to ensure that all scheduling needs are met efficiently and effectively.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain primary care schedule templates for various departments and teams within the organization
  • Monitor and analyze scheduling data to identify trends, gaps and areas for improvement. Work with operations to develop and implement necessary changes
  • Communicate schedule templates to relevant stakeholders in a clear and timely manner
  • Adjust schedule templates based on requests and feedback, ensuring that all changes are approved by the appropriate authorities
  • Collaborate with department heads and team leaders to understand scheduling needs and requirements
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and regulatory requirements related to scheduling and time management
  • Provide training and support to staff on the use of schedule templates and related tools
  • Troubleshoot any issues related to clinician scheduling in Epic and work with the IT team to resolve technical problems
  • Partner with Epic team in researching/understanding how Epic can better support schedule access and management

Required Qualifications:

  • 1+ year of experience in scheduling, project management, or a similar role
  • Solid understanding of clinician scheduling practices in a healthcare setting
  • Proficiency in Epic scheduling software and tools
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or a related field
  • Proven solid organizational and time management skills
  • Proven excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proven attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $91,700 to $163,700 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
