GENERAL FUNCTION


The Manager of Eye Care Delivery is responsible for workforce planning of LRNA doctors to include labor scheduling, forecasting, and trend analysis. This role is responsible for process improvement efforts for employed doctor onboarding, to include credentialing and new technology set up. This role requires the ability to understand business processes at a strategic level while still being able to problem solve & execute in great detail.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Lead decision-making related to employed doctor scheduling, related technology, doctor onboarding process improvement & process documentation
  • Own the accuracy and effectivenes of employed doctor scheduling including hours forecast, predictability, and timely resolution of open schedules
  • Investigate, analyze, and update monthly sales and labor forecasts
  • Identify, measure, and revise labor standards to identify sales growth opportunities
  • Manage prioritization process with all brand leaders and Eye Care Directors to ensure accuracy of store needs & critical location alignment
  • Create trusting relationships with leadership team, internal & external stakeholders as well as ODs, MODs, and Regional EyeCare Directors
  • Lead team to analyze results/issues, identify trends/variances, determine root-cause and quantify potential impacts to overall plans
  • Oversee and create OD work schedules & PTO records for assigned markets
  • Respond quickly to unplanned situations that result in open schedule gaps; being available evenings and weekends if necessary
  • Create & streamline onboarding process that is scalable across LRNA and globally
  • Partner with OD recruiting team to secure the right doctor talent for interviewing and conference hosting events
  • Develop methodology & functionality to automate and streamline e-Scheduling while identifying opportunities for process improvement
  • Develop methodologies/functionality to automate/streamline reporting
  • Provide support for special projects as assigned
  • Perform ad hoc operational analyses

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS



  • Bachelor's Degree in business or related field
  • 5+ years' data analysis and/or statistical experience
  • 3+ years' experience in business analysis or workforce planning environment
  • Strong self-starter able to manage multiple competing priorities
  • Strong communication skills and customer-service focus
  • Strong organizational/time management skills
  • Strong relationship building skills
  • Project management experience
  • Computer and word processing proficiency (Microsoft Office programs), with advanced knowledge & expertise in Excel
  • Business Analysis experience, making operational recommendations or return on investment analysis
  • Ability to assimilate disparate information, construct hypotheses and formulate recommendations
  • Demonstrated problem solving abilities
  • Available nights and weekends, as needed

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS



  • WFM application or Business Objects and Access experience
  • Vendor management experience
