Qualifications Minimum Qualifications Applicants must have: * A Ph.D. or equivalent degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, Pharmacology, Toxicology, Materials Science, Nanomedicine, or a closely related biomedical/health sciences discipline. * A record of research productivity evidenced by peer-reviewed publications. * Authorization to work in the United States at the time of hire. Preferred Qualifications Competitive candidates will demonstrate: * An innovative and independent research vision that complements existing strengths in environmental health, drug delivery, immunotherapy, immunotoxicology, or biomedical engineering. * Experience in translational research, interdisciplinary collaboration, or team science, especially within academic-industry partnerships. * Evidence of ability or strong potential to obtain extramural funding. * A strong record of peer-reviewed publication. * Evidence of leadership and ability to contribute to a highly collaborative academic environment. * A demonstrated commitment to cultivate an understanding of the rich and varied cultures of New Mexico and to the success of the university's mission to serve local and global communities.
