Position Details:

  • Ensure ISO 9001 compliance by conducting internal audits, maintaining documented processes, and driving continuous improvement across the Quality Management System (QMS)
  • Lead or support crossfunctional response to production line shutdowns, including rootcause analysis, documentation of findings, and communication of corrective actions
  • Support CMM inspections by developing and optimizing inspection programs, validating results, and partnering with engineering to resolve dimensional nonconformances
  • Lead or participate in customer complaint investigations and perform failure analysis on returned products to identify root causes and corrective actions
  • Reduce internal failure rates by collaborating with operations and engineering to identify improvement opportunities and implement datadriven solutions
  • Analyze and improve quality performance using statistical tools, trend analysis, and other datadriven methods to support decisionmaking
  • Manage metrology equipment calibration and support equipment deviation assessments to ensure measurement accuracy and compliance
  • Lead or participate in Material Review Board (MRB) activities to disposition nonconforming material and recommend corrective actions
  • Improve supplier quality by communicating directly with suppliers. Monitor incoming material performance, resolve supplier nonconformances, and implement effective corrective actions
  • Review and maintain product drawings, certifications, and specifications to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Collaborate with suppliers and customers to track quality and performance trends and drive initiatives that improve supplier performance and customer satisfaction
  • Support incoming inspection by assisting quality inspectors with reviewing material certifications, verifying critical dimensions and specifications, resolving nonconformances, and ensuring complete documentation of inspection results

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field
  • 2 years experience in quality or related field
  • Immigration sponsorship not offered for this role

Physical Demands:

  • Normal working conditions absent extreme factors
  • Must be able to see well enough to read reports, send emails, etc.
  • Must be able to hear and speak well enough to communicate with customers and fellow employees
  • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs periodically.
  • The role is safety-sensitive and may be subject to employer or customer drug testing

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Collaborator with a positive attitude and a desire to mentor and support others
  • Experience creating inspection plans and interpreting specifications and modeled drawings
  • Proficiency with quality tools such as Pareto analysis, Fishbone diagrams, 8D, and other structured problemsolving methods
  • Firsthand experience with inspection equipment including calipers, micrometers, optical comparators, hardness testers, and surface measurement tools
  • Working knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
  • Strong understanding of statistics, including control charts, SPC, Cp, and Cpk analysis
  • Experience with continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean, Kaizen, or Six Sigma
  • Familiarity with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks)
  • CMM experience highly preferred
  • Professional certifications such as Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Certified Internal Auditor
  • Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification preferred
  • Experience with ISO 9001, ISO 13485, or AS9100 quality management system requirements
  • Working knowledge of Design of Experiments (DOE)
