About the Department

The University of Cincinnati Department of Athletics competes at the highest level of intercollegiate athletics with the vision to reach Next Level Success for all 18 varsity teams and more than 450 student-athletes. The Bearcats have a proud athletics history, winning eight national championships and 118 conference titles. The Cincinnati men's basketball team is among the 15 winningest programs all-time, while the football team became the first non-Power Five program to compete in the College Football Playoff in 2021. Olympic gold medalist volleyball player Jordan Thompson, NBA Hall of Famer Oscar Robertson and Major League Baseball legend Sandy Koufax are among the several luminaries who have competed as Bearcats.

Job Overview

The University of Cincinnati, Department of Athletics is seeking applicants for a Partnership Services Coordinator to support Cincy Sports Partners (CSP).



The Partnership Services Coordinator is responsible for supporting revenue generation by assisting in the execution of corporate sponsorships while delivering exceptional experiences for corporate partners and following all departmental, university, conference, and NCAA policies and regulations.



Cincy Sports Partners (CSP) manages the corporate partnerships, sponsorship activation, and brand integrations for University of Cincinnati Athletics. We create innovative, best-in-class experiences that connect corporate brands with Bearcats fans, student-athletes, and the Greater Cincinnati community.

Essential Functions

  • Collaborate with internal units in the execution of agreements.
  • Manage communication strategies with partners.
  • Assist with execution of sales plan.
  • Assist in development of presentations for prospect corporate sponsorships.
  • Track and update sales inventory.
  • Entertain and cultivate professional relationships.
  • Work with a select group of existing sponsors to execute agreements while growing and extending their partnerships.
  • Prepare end-of-year recap reports for sponsors and corporate partners.
  • Stay current with relevant market conditions and sports marketing trends.
  • Assist with expense reporting, invoicing, and other budgetary needs.
  • Assist in the execution of corporate hospitality, tickets, in-game promotions and other activities.
  • Collaborate with internal units to provide proof of performance for in-venue sponsorship elements.
  • Assist in fulfilling the terms of sponsor agreements through TV & Radio broadcasts, websites, social media, digital and fixed signage, print media, e-newsletters, fan experiences, event activations, etc.
  • May provide direct and/or indirect supervision to exempt and non-exempt staff (i.e. hiring/firing, performance evaluations, disciplinary action, approve time off, etc.).
  • Perform related duties based on departmental need. This job description can be changed at any time.

Required Education

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Five (5)years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training can be used in lieu of education requirement.

Required Experience

One (1) year of relevant experience.

  • Must be able to work some evenings and weekends.
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
  • Attention to detail with a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
  • Team-oriented with willingness to assist across departments.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with CRM tools (SponsorCX, Salesforce, etc.)
