Job Description

The Center for Infrastructure Engineering Studies is seeking a highly qualified and motivated individual in materials engineering with a strong background in concrete science and project management, and research proposal writing by inviting applications for a non- tenure research faculty position. The appointment is anticipated to be made at the research assistant level depending on candidates' background and experience. The appointment will be at the 100% full-time employment. The successful candidates will be expected to demonstrate the potential to establish and grow a strong research program and reach a high level of scholarly excellence.

Qualifications

Candidates must have an earned an undergraduate degree in civil engineering from an EAC/ ETAC accredited program or equivalent, and has earned a Ph.D. in a field closely related. Superior communication and interpersonal skills, leadership capabilities, the ability to engage in collaborative and interdisciplinary research. and the ability to motivate and inspire undergraduate and graduate students.
