As a senior staff member serving the Finance and Operations and the Impact and Evidence leadership teams, the Managing Director, Portfolio Management - International (M3) will oversee financial operations for the entire portfolio of international programming, both implemented in Home Office and through Save the Children International. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that Save the Children's program leads are equipped with high-quality financial support for critical activities including budget proposal development, awards and contract management, annual budget development, and routine budget vs. actual analyses. You will work in partnership with the department head and program leaders to set priorities, allocate resources, establish plans, solve complex problems and develop policies and procedures that mitigate risk and create large-scale efficiencies. You will also lead a team of portfolio professionals and subject matter experts responsible for overall awards management and regional financial management for a portfolio of assigned countries. You will act as a business partner for both SCUS and SCI country stakeholders, ensuring a seamless and efficient experience. The salary ranges listed above are for US based candidates. For candidates located outside of the US, salary ranges will be based on the salary scales of the local employer of record. Actual base salary may vary based on, but not limited to, relevant experience, base salary of internal peers, business sector, and geographic location (more information on job structure is available here).
