Job Purpose:

The Technical Product Manager for Internal ERP Applications plays a pivotal role in managing and optimizing the organization's ERP systems and IT project management processes. This position is responsible for driving the development, enhancement, and integration of internal ERP applications to streamline business operations, improve efficiency, and support organizational goals. This technical product Manager is accountable for Delivered solution effectiveness - projected vs. actual ROI ratio, usage, etc., and also "Customer" satisfaction - qualitative & quantitative. The Technical Product Owner's role is crucial in achieving departmental objectives by ensuring that internal ERP solutions effectively support and enhance the department's operations. May support various areas in operations including, Traffic, Compliance, Customer Care, and/or Warehouse

Responsibilities:

  • This role leads the endtoend lifecycle of internal ecosystems and applications, including defining product vision, building roadmaps, and ensuring alignment with organizational IT strategy. It involves managing IT projects from planning through delivery, coordinating with crossfunctional teams, and serving as the primary liaison between business units and technical teams.
  • Key duties include gathering and translating business requirements into technical specifications, maintaining backlogs in Jira or similar tools, and partnering with developers and engineers to design scalable, secure solutions.
  • The role oversees testing and UAT, provides training and ongoing user support, and continuously monitors system performance to drive enhancements.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Business Administration, or related field; advanced certifications are a plus
  • Strong background in IT project management, ERP implementation/support, and preferably the IT distribution industry.
  • *Experience in logistics operations, including conveyor and networking systems.
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and problemsolving abilities.
  • Skilled in formal presentation development, stakeholder engagement, and persuasive negotiation.
  • Demonstrated strengths in critical thinking, decisionmaking, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt to change, and perform effectively under pressure.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams and interact with senior leadership.
  • Proficient in data entry, basic math, and intermediatelevel computer applications.

Working Conditions:

  • Occasional non-standard work hours or overtime as business requires.
  • On-call availability required as necessary.
  • Professional, office environment.
  • Frequent Travel Required (25%).
