POSITION OVERVIEW: Serve as project construction representative for contractors and developers to ensure adherence to FXF prototypical drawings and specification standards. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Serve as company representative for facility construction projects working with developers, contractors, architects, engineers, etc. 2. Manage projects to completion within assigned timelines of contract or lease agreement 3. Facilitate meetings with contractors and developers performing work on owned or lease facilities to review drawings, submittals, shop drawings and any other information related to the construction process for standard compliance. 4. Develop timeline and cost projections for assigned projects 5. Review and evaluate construction bids and proposed change order costs 6. Review developer drawings and plans to ensure compliance with standards and annotated items found not to be incompliance 7. Review request for payment to ensure compliance with progress before approving for payment 8. Provide guidance to developers and/ or contractors to ensure minimal disruption to FedEx Freight operations during expansion process of existing facilities and provide responses to construction RFI's 9. Communicate and coordinate information with various departments within FedEx Freight and/or contractors and developers 10. Monitor project progress, provide status reports on a regular basis, and provide quality control oversight. 11. Provide progress information to internal members of the FedEx Freight team by Construction in Progress (CIP) Reports, through updates to database files and phone conference meetings etc. 12. Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures. 13. QUALIFICATIONS: * Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience plus five (5) years in any of the following fields: electrical, plumbing, mechanical, site civil work, or commercial carpentry experience * Thorough understanding of architectural, engineering, Heating Ventilating and Air Conditioning (HVAC), electrical, civil and pre-engineered metal building drawings. * Comprehensive knowledge of building plans, surveys, and building trades, construction schedules, critical path, and construction process means/methods * Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to changes in methods or processes * Strong negotiation skills, time management, organizational and interpersonal skills * Experience and ability to use Microsoft 365 Software, including but not limited to; Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook, OneDrive, Teams, Visio, and Microsoft SharePoint * Ability to work independently and as a team member * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Familiarity with concrete and asphalt placement and associated terminology JOB CONDITIONS: * Some travel required * May require some international travel Pay Transparency:

This compensation range is a reasonable estimate of the current starting pay range in NJ.
