  • Ability to transform operational requirements into technical specifications
  • Ability to develop testing methodologies, performance requirements, data collection processes, and transform raw data into actionable information to support decision making
  • Identify and integrate a cross-network capability, interoperability, to ensure non-obsolescence of the network as a system of networks
  • Conducts required capability analysis, including assessment of current and projected capabilities, and validates material solutions to the highest degree of system definition
  • Operational characteristic definition by describing system capabilities and operational environments that may impact user requirements
  • Conducts system integration by evaluating compatibility and interoperability to ensure required capabilities are satisfied.
  • Logistics and sustainment analysis, ensuring support considerations are an integral part of the system's design requirements, and that the system can be cost effectively support throughout its life cycle, and the infrastructure elements necessary for the initial fielding and operational support of the system are identified, developed and acquired
  • Analyzes systems that no longer meet operational needs, or can be substantially improved in capability through technology evolution
  • Interfaces frequently with 160th Regiment Liaison Officer (LNO) assigned to supported ground forces to ensure continuous communication/network compatibility.
