Job Summary
The Field Service Administrator supports day-to-day field operations with a strong focus on fleet management, regulatory compliance, and licensing coordination. This role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and clear communication while managing multiple administrative responsibilities across several states.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the company fleet of vehicles, including:
    • Ordering vehicles and coordinating upfitting and logo installation
    • Assigning vehicles to drivers and maintaining accurate records
    • Ensuring proper vehicle registration, inspections, and renewals
    • Tracking and coordinating routine and preventative maintenance
  • Handle intrastate DOT compliance for company-owned box trucks and trailers, including:
    • Maintaining required documentation and records
    • Monitoring compliance deadlines and renewal requirements
  • Maintain company-required contractor licenses across multiple states, including:
    • Tracking license status, renewals, and compliance requirements
    • Coordinating applications, renewals, and documentation submissions
  • Prepare and maintain accurate records, files, and reports related to fleet, licensing, and compliance
  • Communicate professionally with internal teams, vendors, and regulatory agencies
  • Perform additional administrative duties as assigned to support field service operations
Qualifications & Skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
  • Proficiency with basic Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously
  • Comfortable working with compliance-related documentation and processes
  • Prior experience in administrative support, fleet management, or compliance is a plus
Work Environment
  • Office-based role with frequent coordination across departments
  • Occasional interaction with field personnel, vendors, and regulatory agencies
