Job Description

The Risk Analyst will support Visa's Risk organization across the Latin America & Caribbean (LAC) region. The successful candidate will work directly with a Senior Director who brings two decades of experience across multiple Visa functions and is passionate about developing talent, coaching earlycareer professionals, and teaching about the industry and LAC market dynamics.

This role is ideal for someone who is enthusiastic, curious, hardworking, and eager to learn. The analyst will perform a wide variety of tasks, gaining hands-on experience in enterprise risk management, product and process risk management, and supporting crossfunctional risk initiatives. The position provides significant visibility to Risk leadership and other functional teams, along with opportunities to contribute to planning, budgeting, meetings, and event coordination for the broader Risk organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support enterprise risk assessments, product and process risk reviews and related activities.
  • Programs manage crossfunctional efforts, working with stakeholders to gather, organize, and interpret business information.
  • Synthesize complex information into clear narratives, summaries, and presentations for leadership.
  • Conduct research and data analysis and prepare dashboards and materials for decision-making.
  • Provide operational support for planning, budgeting, meetings, and event coordination.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

2 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD)

Preferred Qualifications:

3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)

Language proficiency in English and Spanish or Portuguese.

Strong initiative, willingness to learn, and ability to manage diverse tasks.

Strong communication and collaboration skills and ability to work with multiple stakeholders.

Ability to synthesize information and tell a cohesive story through power point slides and written materials.

Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with AI tools.

Payment industry, banking, fintech or technology experience

Experience in risk, finance, or project management.

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for this position is 89,200.00 to 138,600.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401 (k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.
