As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a fast-paced tech, media, and telecom location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site contacts, and deliver customer service that reflects Allied Universal values of being agile, reliable, and innovative. You will work as part of a team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points at a technology-focused location; note unusual conditions and report findings.
• Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry by checking identification, confirming visitor authorization, issuing visitor badges, and directing deliveries to designated areas.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; assist with de-escalation, provide clear directions, and notify appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as needed.
• Complete reports for incidents, patrols, and observations; maintain accurate logs, communicate with site contacts, and support investigations by preserving relevant information.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 1+ years of security-related experience.
• Be 21+ years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
