Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer supporting a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will document observations, communicate clearly with staff and visitors, and respond to concerns with professionalism and respect. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to visitors and staff at a government location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, corridors, parking areas, and perimeter zones to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify hazards or maintenance concerns.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation, documenting facts, and notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
  • Monitor access points, verify identification and/or authorization as required, and direct visitors to appropriate areas in accordance with site procedures.
  • Complete shift logs, incident reports, and daily activity reports, and communicate observations and handoffs with Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A Guard Card and/or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
