As a Security Guard - Unarmed Foot Patrol in Westlake Village, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer supporting a residential community. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and help to deter security-related incidents while assisting residents and guests with a professional, service-first approach. You will document observations, communicate clearly with your team, and respond to issues with integrity. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or vendors by following site-specific procedures, access guidelines, and security-related protocols.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or resident concerns in a calm, problem-solving manner, and request additional assistance when needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter lines to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor gates, entrances, and other access points, verifying authorization and documenting unusual activity according to post orders.
• Complete required reports such as incident logs, patrol activity reports, and maintenance observations, and communicate relevant updates to onsite contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 1+ years of security experience.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be able to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
