Security Officer - Airport Part Time Morning

As a Airport Traffic Control Officer in Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard the airport, its facilities, travelers, directing and managing flow of traffic, enforcing security protocals and procedures helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors and staff. Your presence and routine patrols will support a secure environment while you provide outstanding customer service and clear communication. Position Type: Part Time - Morning

Pay Rate: $19.23 / Hour with an hourly bonus of $4.30. Premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting concerns through the chain of command.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of terminals, parking areas, access roads, and perimeter areas; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify identification and/or credentials as required, and help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Complete patrol logs, incident reports, and daily activity documentation, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Possession of a guard card/license is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 20 years of age for unarmed roles; 22+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
