What Makes This Role Great:

In this role, you will be the lead architect for industry-wide skills development, directly influencing how trade schools and unions prepare the modern workforce. By creating standardized training programs and leading "train-the-trainer" boot camps, you are not just teaching-you are ensuring the future of the AECO industry is tech-enabled, sustainable, and highly skilled.

Key Exciting Responsibilities

  • Innovate Technical Education: Lead the creation and delivery of dynamic e-learning and classroom curriculum for unions and trade schools, focusing on upskilling the next generation of construction workers.

  • Champion Workforce Adoption: Drive the integration of Trimble technologies into educational institutions across Western North America, ensuring students have access to industry-leading tools.

  • Empower Instructors: Host immersive training boot camps and educational events to transform teachers into Trimble champions, scaling your impact across multiple institutions.

  • Facilitate Community Recovery: Spearhead specialized workforce initiatives focused on fire restoration and rebuilding efforts, providing essential field training in high-impact areas like Los Angeles.

  • Collaborate for Impact: Partner with sales and training teams to identify new opportunities for growth within the workforce development sector.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience collaborating effectively with marketing, sales, channel partners, and training teams.

  • Demonstrated ability to facilitate and lead events and meetings with large and small teams of industry and/or technology professionals.

  • Domain experience in one or more Trimble Solutions that could include Trimble Building Construction, Civil Construction, or Geospatial divisions, including Robotic Total Stations, GNSS, Laser Scanning, BIM Services, Design, Engineering, Project Management, or other related software solutions.

  • Knowledge of and ability to standardize programs and processes for training.

  • Strong skills in curriculum development and delivery of e-learning, virtual instructor-led, and classroom instructor-led training.

  • Experience in creating marketing materials and delivering engaging presentations at events.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with cross-functional teams.

  • Proficient in Google Workspace and/or Microsoft Office Suite, and various online meeting platforms.

  • Ability to quickly learn and teach new technologies, including hardware, software, and service offerings.

  • Proven English communication skills (verbal, nonverbal, written, and presentations) and interpersonal skills, including cultural awareness and aptitude.

  • A passionate advocate for training the next generation and/or upskilling individuals for continuous self-improvement.

  • High attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability for creative thinking, excellent organization skills and proven ability to multitask.

  • Strong customer focus with a dedication to meeting and exceeding customer expectations.

  • A proactive approach to seeking opportunities to increase technical knowledge and abilities.

  • Strong business acumen, high energy, self-motivation and ability to work under pressure, and a collaborative work style

Bonus Points For:

  • Hands-on union apprenticeship or extensive field trade experience.

  • A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Education.

Compensation: Trimble provides the following compensation range and general description of other compensation and benefits that it in good faith believes it might pay and/or offer for this position. This compensation range is based on a full time schedule. Trimble reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and offer additional benefits and other compensation, depending on circumstances not related to an applicant's sex or other status protected by local, state, or federal law.
