Goldbelt Professional Services specializes in providing expert resources for Public Health missions including scientific, technical, and administrative support from junior staff to high-level subject matter experts. Research and data driven, Goldbelt Professional Services' experts create solutions customized to the client's needs.

Summary:

The Program Analyst III will provide subject matter knowledge in support of the Long-Term Care Team. This includes arranging meetings or partner calls, responding to public inquiries, sending CDC recommendations to partners, and providing technical drafts or recommendations to CDC.


Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:

  • Develop technical knowledge and expertise with the function and use of the NHSN LTC Component for tracking and reporting infection events from nursing homes.
  • Participate in and provide resources to facilitate nursing home participation in infection prevention collaboratives and related activities.
  • Review/develop website materials and other communications related to infection prevention in nursing homes and other long-term care or similar facilities, ensuring consistency of the documents/messages with other CDC tools.
  • Identify existing and develop new educational materials including FAQ sheets, assessment tools, training slides, etc. for implementing infections surveillance activities in nursing homes.
  • Develop and prepare data summaries, feedback reports, and presentations for partners.
  • Provide support to CDC subject matter experts in the management and evaluation of projects and/or study activities.
  • Provide recommendation for infection prevention efforts for various projects based on partner and user feedback for CDC.

Qualifications

Necessary Skills and Knowledge:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based public health environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5-6 years of experience.
  • Experience program evaluation and making recommendations for improvement based on findings.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in a related field.

Pay and Benefits

The annual salary range for this position is $105,000 to $125,000.
