The Senior Contracts and Grants Analyst serves a critical role within the Sponsored Research Programs (SRP) department at the UCR School of Medicine by providing high-level, independent administration of complex sponsored research awards. This position is responsible for managing the full lifecycle of contracts and grants for a diverse portfolio of SOM departments, including proposal development and submission, award analysis, post-award financial management, compliance oversight, and closeout activities. The incumbent applies expert knowledge of federal and non-federal sponsor regulations, institutional policies, and research administration best practices to advise faculty, department administrators, and campus partners, while ensuring the effective stewardship of sponsored funds and supporting the School of Medicine's research mission.
The full salary range for the Senior Contracts and Grants Analyst is $68,500 - $121,900 annually. However, the expected pay scale for this position is up to $95,200 annually. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs. Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position. Currently, we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for staff. As a University employee, you will be required to comply with all applicable University policies and/or collective bargaining agreements, as may be amended from time to time. Federal, state, or local government directives may impose additional requirements. | |
