Pay Rate: $69/hour Schedule: Monday-Friday \| 8:00am-4:30pm Work Model: Hybrid (onsite + remote) As an R&D Engineer, you'll independently lead critical design and documentation efforts for a large-bore delivery catheter, contributing directly to a 510(k) regulatory submission. You'll be recognized as a technical expert while collaborating with a small, highly skilled product design team. What You'll Do: Design and develop catheter-based medical devices using CAD and detailed print packages Create and manage design control documentation including specifications, DFMEAs, tolerance analysis, GD&T, BOMs, and material assessments Support and guide product and technology teams through regulated design processes Drive PDP/TPD deliverables aligned with ISO 13485, ISO 14971, and FDA Quality System Regulations Coach peers on high-quality engineering documentation and best practices Evaluate alternative designs, processes, and materials for feasibility and risk What You Bring: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or related field 5+ years of experience in medical device R&D, design assurance, or regulated product development Strong expertise in design controls, risk management, and technical documentation Experience with 510(k) submissions and catheter or delivery systems preferred Ready to make an impact in medical device innovation?
