Location: Henry Ford Gynecology Oncology - Grosse Pointe Woods | Henry Ford Gynecology Oncology Waldenburg | Henry Ford St john Hospital Status: Full-Time | Days Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8a-430p Setting: 100% Outpatient | Adult Patients Call/Weekends: None Position Overview: Henry Ford Health System is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to support Gynecologic Oncology services at Henry Ford St. John Hospital through a combination of onsite and remote clinic coverage. This role provides comprehensive care for gynecologic oncology patients across the cancer care continuum, including clinic visits (consults, follow-ups, pre- and post-operative care, and chemotherapy education), care coordination, and clinical triage. The APP will manage chemotherapy patients by initiating and updating orders, tracking and coordinating treatment regimens and schedules, supporting insurance authorization processes, and maintaining chemotherapy flowsheets. Additional responsibilities include triaging patient calls, addressing urgent and emergent clinical concerns, ordering and reviewing imaging and laboratory studies, coordinating blood transfusions in inpatient and outpatient settings, and supporting navigation for newly diagnosed patients. Candidates must have oncology specialty certification (OCN or AOCNP), demonstrated EPIC/EMR competency, and prior oncology and/or OB/GYN experience; new graduates will not be considered. Preferred qualifications include chemotherapy certification, experience with complex patient management and post-operative care, strong clinical triage skills, interest or experience in OR support and tumor board participation, and a collaborative, flexible approach with a strong interest in learning and educating team members. References will be requested. Education & Training * Nurse Practitioner (NP): Completion of a Nurse Practitioner program accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) or the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC) * Physician Assistant (PA): Completion of a Physician Assistant program accredited by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA) Licensure * Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the State of Michigan, or in the process of applying (proof of application required) Certification * NP: National certification by a certification body recognized by the State of Michigan (e.g., ANCC, AANP) * PA: Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) Required Certifications
