Apply your expertise in data science to drive the next stage of growth at Adobe. The Commerce Data Science and Analytics team uses the power to data to deeply understand customers, advise strategy, measure progress toward goals and uncover new opportunities. This role will drive data driven optimization for Adobe's subscription business. The ideal candidate will have a extensive knowledge of digital marketing practices across customer segments, have deep technical skills, a passion for delivering compelling customer experience, relentless curiosity, and a desire to grow technical skills.
What You'll Do
* Use big data to understand customers, find opportunities to further elevate Adobe's product experience, and build compelling data stories that drive action * Partner with internal teams on data-informed hypothesis that will drive experiment design and readouts focused on causal relationships between product engagement and long-term customer value * Own and drive critical metrics focused on commerce optimization * Partner with various product, marketing and engagement teams on measurement strategy and data requirement. Deliver insights on product and customer with a focus on opportunities for enhanced customer experiences.
What you need to succeed
* A Master's degree in computer science, statistics, physics or a related field is helpful. Technical undergrad and equivalent experience in the field is required * 3-5+ years of direct experience in marketing or business analytics in a data science role * Deep understanding of statistics and machine learning techniques and their real-world applications * Strong proficiency in querying, manipulating, and analyzing large data sets using SQL and Python * Strong business insight, superb communication, and relationship skills * Experience with Apache Hadoop and related technology stack * Experience with one or more data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI. * Good attention to detail and ability to stitch and QA multiple data sources. * Experience with multi-platform -- mobile, web service, freemium application a plus.
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this positionis $133,100 -- $236,400 annually. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills,and experience. In California, the pay range for this position is $163,200 - $236,400
At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP). In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
