The UMKC School of Dentistry seeks a full-time, 100% FTE faculty member in the Section of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology within the Department of Oral Pathology, Radiology, and Medicine. This is a ranked position that may be appointed as either tenure-track or ranked non-tenure track at the Assistant or Associate Professor level, with rank, track, and salary commensurate with qualifications and experience. Consideration for tenure requires the inclusion of evidence of sustained scholarly activity within the application materials. The successful candidate will provide didactic and clinical instruction in oral and maxillofacial radiology for predoctoral dental (DDS) students and dental hygiene students. Responsibilities include teaching principles of radiology, radiographic interpretation, and supervising students in clinical settings to provide technique assessment, consultative services, and to ensure patient safety and compliance with accreditation standards. Additionally, this position provides graduate level didactic instruction for advanced education residency programs. Opportunities for faculty practice participation (up to one day per week) may be available, consistent with School policy. Qualifications

Rank and salary are commensurate with qualifications, experience and evidence of success in externally funded research.
