As a Security Officer - Commercial Driving Patrol - Overnights in Long Beach, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, monitoring and patrolling assigned areas while conducting routine rounds and maintaining a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents. You will respond to alarms and service requests, document activity, and communicate professionally with tenants, guests, and property teams. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license per AU Driver Policy Requirements. Work with a caring culture built on integrity, teamwork, and reliability.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property management by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting property management and/or public emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance and/or security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe alarms, cameras, and/or building systems as assigned, reporting unusual conditions according to post orders.
• Complete detailed written reports and maintain activity logs, including incident documentation and follow-up communication with Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
