As an unarmed Patrol Security Officer at a busy retail mall location, you will conduct routine patrols and highly visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, assist guests and tenants, and communicate clearly with store teams and management. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, employees, and visitors by carrying out Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail mall location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with site management and/or local emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of common areas, parking lots, loading areas, and exterior perimeter to help to deter policy violations and/or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entrances, corridors, and high-traffic areas, reporting suspicious behavior, maintenance concerns, and/or hazards through established communication and documentation channels.
• Complete written and/or electronic reports such as incident reports, daily activity logs, and patrol documentation, and participate in access control and crowd management during peak traffic and special events.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
