Job Description

We are seeking an inspired Senior Product Manager to drive our mission of delivering frictionless and easytoonboard payment acceptance solutions that empower SMBs to grow with Visa as a trusted partner. In this role, you will be the guardian of our product's technical integrity and the catalyst for a seamless implementation journey-ensuring our APIs, SDKs, and onboarding experiences meet the highest standards while preventing implementation from becoming a bottleneck. You will launch fitforpurpose acceptance solutions, design and operationalize sustainable economic models, andestablishstrategic partnerships across internal and external stakeholders. Serving as the technical subject matter expert and the bridge between clients, Customer Success, and Technology teams, you will help millions of small businesses accept payments effortlessly. Responsibilities:

  • Technical Implementation Oversight: Supervise and support the end-to-end implementation process forclients,across LAC, ensuring a smooth and successful integration of our acceptance solutions, such as Visa Accept and Tap-to-phone
  • Quality Assurance of Technical Assetsand processes: Take ownership of the quality, clarity, and usability of all technical documentation, SDKs, APIs, testing environments, and implementation guides. Constantly suggest changes and improvements
  • Client Technical Engagement: Serve as the technical bridge between the clients' development and Visa's engineering teams during implementation, organizing the dynamics and tech meetings
  • Internal Collaboration: Work closely with internal Customer Service (CS), engineering, and global product teams to troubleshoot issues and provide feedback from thereal experiencewith customers
  • AIfirst mindset: Ability toleveragedata, automation, and emerging AI tools tooptimizedecisionmaking, enhance product performance, and drive scalable growth across the acceptance ecosystem
  • Partnership Development:Establishand nurture strategic partnerships with key stakeholders, including internal teams, financial institutions, technology providers, and other external partners. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., engineering, marketing, sales, customer support) to ensure cohesive and aligned product development and go-to-market strategies.Act as the product champion and advocate for SMBs within the organization, ensuring their needs and pain points are effectively communicated and addressed. Present product updates, progress, and results to senior leadership and stakeholders, highlighting key achievements andfuture plans
  • Influence on GlobalDevelopmentRoadmap: Act as the voice of the LAC region's technical needs, influencing the global product and engineering teams to prioritize features and fixes that improve the local implementation experience and technical quality of the product
  • Risk Assessment:Identifyand address technical risks, roadblocks, or gaps in the product's capabilities that couldimpactimplementation or client satisfaction
  • Understand the LAC Payment Landscape: Develop a deep understanding of the payment landscape in the Latin America and Caribbean (LAC) region, including regulatory environments, market trends, and cultural nuances. Stay abreast of the competitive landscape and emerging payment technologies in the region toidentifyopportunities and threats

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications

9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or 7 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for this position is 143,700.00 to 230,200.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401 (k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.
