Construction Materials Project Manager

ECSis anemployee-ownedengineering firm supporting infrastructure, commercial, and public sector projects throughout Florida. Due to continued project awards and expanding client demand, we are hiring a mid-levelConstruction Materials Testing (CMT) Project Managerfor our Fort Myers office. This role focuses on managing active testing projects, coordinating field staff, and maintaining strong client relationships from project kickoff through closeout.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage CMT projects including scope, schedule, budget, and reporting
• Coordinate field technicians performing concrete, asphalt, soil, and masonry testing
• Review field and laboratory data for accuracy and compliance with project requirements
• Prepare proposals, work plans, and project documentation
• Communicate directly with clients, contractors, and project stakeholders
• Ensure testing services meet applicable standards, specifications, and safety requirements
• Support value engineering discussions and identify opportunities to expand services
• Mentor field staff through direct supervision and technical guidance

Basic Qualifications:

• 2 or more years of construction materials testing experience
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
• Experience managing CMT projects and coordinating field personnel
• Strong understanding of construction testing standards and procedures
• Ability to manage multiple projects in an on-site role

Preferred Qualifications:

• Professional Engineer (P.E.) or EIT certification
• ACI, FDOT, or other relevant materials testing certifications
• Experience with client development or expanding project scope
• Familiarity with Southwest Florida construction markets
