Position Summary

Odyssey is currently seeking a Network and Computer Systems Manager to support the Rapid Enterprise Solutions Division (AFLCMC/EBR) provides enabling capabilities to the Armament Directorate by modernizing how AFLCMC/EB designs, develops, tests, and sustains weapon systems. EBR delivers secure digital ecosystems, integrated engineering and productivity tools, workforce training and support, cybersecurity and security assessments, modeling and analysis services, and manages facility operations, human capital, and resources to accelerate solutions delivery to the warfighter.

This is a fulltime position based at Eglin AFB with onsite requirements.



Responsibilities

Duties include, but not limited to:

    Prepare technical implementation plans with integrated solutions, milestones, and timelines.
  • Develop and maintain databases, spreadsheets, and workflows.
  • Provide support for customer access to Government systems and applications.
  • Assist with COMSEC operations and cryptonet management.
  • Support development and management of acquisition program networks and systems.
  • Perform certification of unclassified, classified, and SAP network systems.
  • Manage LAN, Windows/Linux systems, messaging services, telecommunications, and IT infrastructure.
  • Develop and maintain classified/unclassified networks, including cloud enclaves.
  • Assist with development and hosting of web-based applications and SharePoint portals.
  • Collaborate with Government, military, and civilian agencies for IM requirements.
  • Develop and implement short- and long-term IT strategies for secure operations.
  • Research, test, and implement new technologies to meet program needs.
  • Provide data management services including indexing, archiving, and backups.
  • Manage hardware/software configuration and troubleshoot IT equipment.
  • Perform daily configuration and operation of business systems and optimize performance.
  • Assist with IT project management planning and execution.
  • Deploy baseline OS configurations to DoD assets in physical and virtual environments.
  • Perform system and network patch management and compliance measures.
  • Document processes and procedures for system and network configurations.
  • Configure switches, firewalls, and manage cloud-based administration.


Qualifications

Citizenship: Must be a US citizen

Minimum Required Qualifications

Clearance: Active Top Secret Clearance

Education, years of experience, and certifications:

  • BS IRD + 15 years RE OR BS IRD + 13 years RE + IAT Level II OR
  • MS IRD + 13 years RE OR MS IRD + 11 years RE + IAT Level II

Technical Skills

  • Information Assurance Technical Level II Certification (e.g., Security+ CE, GSEC, CCNA-Security, CISSP).
  • Knowledge of DoD Manual 8140.03 Cyberspace Workforce Qualification standards.
  • Experience with LAN/WAN administration and network security.
  • Proficiency in Windows and Linux operating systems.
  • COMSEC operations and cryptonet management expertise.
  • Database administration and management.
  • Configuration management and troubleshooting of IT systems.
  • Cloud-based administration and virtualization technologies.
  • Network architecture design and diagramming.
  • Familiarity with Government systems and applications (e.g., ConWrite, CPARS, ETIMS).
