The Compliance Coordinator will be responsible for managing vendors and subcontractors. The Compliance Coordinator will focus on ensuring compliance processes and standard terms and conditions for the following categories: Health Safety & Environmental (HSE), Certificates of Insurance (COI's), New Vendor Documentation/Vetting, and 3rd party compliance software systems (i.e. Avetta).

Salary Range: $60,000.00-$65,000.00K

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Monitor and maintain vendorcompliancewith safety requirements, certificates of insurance (COI), and regulatory documentation.
  • Track and verify that all vendor documents remain current and in alignment with company policies and legal requirements, ensuring proper execution, storage, and renewals for such documentation.
  • Coordinate with third-party vendor vetting systems for COI and safetycompliance.
  • Facilitate vendor onboarding, including drafting, reviewing, and executing documentation related to capabilities, experience, financial health, and safety records.
  • Partner with Quality, Safety, and Finance teams to ensure alignment on vendor risk assessments.
  • Generatecompliancereports for leadership and recommend corrective actions when gaps are identified.
  • Support continuous improvement of vendorcomplianceprocesses and act as an interdepartmental liaison to ensure vendorcomplianceis integrated across the business.
  • Contract Management - Supports drafting and maintaining Purchase Agreements, Master Supplier Agreements, Mutual NDA's, RFQ bid packages, etc.
  • Draft new and manage existing purchasing standard operating procedures.
  • Purchase Order Tracking. Communicate with Vendors on PO confirmations, shipping/delivery dates, and tracking information.


Qualifications

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • BA/BS in Business, Supply Chain, HSE, or a minimum 5 years' experience in the procurement, compliance, and/or related fields.
  • Experience working with an ERP/MRP system required
  • Military service, any branch, any Military Occupational Specialty (MOS), a bonus and greatly valued

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Requirements:

  • Ability to build valuable relationships across the various teams at Daifuku with a strong team-player spirit, a "can-do" collaborative mindset and a positive attitude.
  • Knowledge of vendor relationship management, score cards and purchasing tools
  • Computer skills including MS Office and experience using MRP/ERP system(s)
  • Excellent time management and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated and detail-oriented with a focus on improving our company's efficiencies and status.
  • Must be able to speak, read and understand the English language
  • Travel up to 10% to review our vendor partnerships.
