The Quality Inspector - Electrical conducts performance testing of electrical components and equipment within Trachte product buildings to verify compliance with intended design, application, and the Trachte Compliance Control (TCC) System. This role ensures safe, accurate, and complete electrical operation prior to shipment while supporting quality, safety, and customer satisfaction standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Prepare product buildings for performance testing by setting up test workstations, connecting temporary power, and verifying electrical safety prior to energizing systems.
* Perform electrical performance testing as part of a two-person team, correlating equipment operation with TCC documentation.
* Review building construction drawings and execute a structured sequence of ON/OFF cycles for manual, automatic, and interface-controlled components.
* Test circuit continuity and electrical compatibility using instruments such as volt/ohmmeters to ensure safety and compliance.
* Mark and document drawing segments to verify successful completion of each component test.
* Troubleshoot identified performance deficiencies and coordinate immediate corrective actions with the Lead Electrician.
* Communicate deficiencies clearly and provide direction or instruction to electricians as needed.
* Assist with post-testing activities including notification labeling, ship-loose item lists, and preparation of ship-loose materials for transport.
* Interact effectively with supervisors to understand and complete assigned tasks.
* Train and instruct crew members on Trachte installation policies, standards, and quality expectations.

Qualifications:
Education and Experience
* High school diploma required.
* Minimum of five (5) years of related experience and/or training in electrical installation within manufacturing or construction environments, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
Licenses and Certifications
* State of Wisconsin Journeyman or Master Electrician license preferred.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
* Directly supervises one or more employees during electrical installation activities.
* Responsible for training, planning, assigning, and directing work in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.
* Addresses performance issues, complaints, and resolves problems as needed.

Physical Demands:
* Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds occasionally.
* Regularly required to stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
* Frequent use of hands for handling, reaching, and operating tools.
* Vision requirements include close, distance, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
