Lubbock Lead Content Specialist 43558BR Arts and Sciences Position Description As a lead content specialist (in the Office of Communications & Marketing), you will create and manage engaging content that populates a variety of digital and traditional platforms at Texas Tech University, including websites, blogs, printed material, advertisements, social media and more. You will work closely with leadership in the Office of Communications and Marketing and other university stakeholders to create and maintain content that adheres to brand standards and effectively engages target audiences. About the Department and/or College The Texas Tech University College of Arts & Sciences was founded in 1925 as one of the university's four original colleges. Students can choose from 42 bachelor's degree programs, 34 master's degrees and 14 doctoral programs. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in specialization or closely related field. Five years of experience in digital content creation. Ability to mentor student interns and fellow team members. Familiarity with content management systems and digital marketing tools. Strong writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail and grammar. Ability to communicate effectively with both external and internal audiences. Understanding of SEO best practices and experience with keyword research.
