FTE: _1.0, Shift: Variable, Schedule: Variable work week but shift is primarily 7:00am-3:30pm Position Summary The Point of Care (TC) is responsible to evaluate competency of moderate complexity testing. The POC Educator/TC serves as a resource to clinicians, educators and management for regulatory requirements. Work situations require moderate problem solving and analytical skills. This position is an intermediate-level position, working under limited supervision. Requirements Medical Technologist (MT, or MLS (ASCP), Bachelors of Science Must have access to a reliable vehicle; Current Washington Drivers License; and proof of a safe driving record (which meets established MHS Standards) obtained by a motor vehicle report from the appropriate state Minimum two (2) years of Clinical Laboratory experience: including test performance, quality control procedures and documentation, and specimen collection including capillary and venipuncture Experience with diagnostic laboratory instrumentation Consideration may be given to internal candidates not meeting the minimum qualifications About Valley Hospital MultiCare Valley Hospital is a 123-bed, fully accredited acute-care hospital in Spokane Valley, featuring a Level III Trauma Center, comprehensive surgical, inpatient, outpatient and diagnostic services, and advanced cardiac care. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $35.51 - $51.10 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant's years of experience align.
