In this position, you will direct and supervise the building maintenance and grounds maintenance program at Warren State Hospital. You work will involve panning and participating in a strong building maintenance program by setting objectives, developing project plans, and conducting meetings with staff. You will complete inspections of work, develop basic budget projections, and submit status reports. Some of your duties will also include developing a preventative maintenance program by working closely with maintenance staff and planning for inhouse projects by laying out the work and staff required. Additionally, you will serve as the Assistant Representative for the hospital on all Department of General Services (DGS) contracted projects and the Assistant Project Manager on non-DGS contracted projects as assigned.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

• Full-time employment
• Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. This may change base don operational needs.
• Travel and overtime as needed

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

• Two years of experience as a Facility Operations Manager 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
• Three years of experience as a Building Maintenance Foreman (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
• Five years of experience performing skilled trades work in commercial or industrial buildings which includes three years of supervisory experience overseeing skilled trades work in commercial or industrial buildings, or utility plant operations.
