The Manager - Marketing Operations is responsible for building, optimizing, and scaling the operational backbone of the marketing organization. This role ensures marketing programs run efficiently by managing processes, systems, budgets, workflows, and cross functional coordination. The position partners with marketing leadership, sales, and external vendors to enable high impact campaigns, consistent brand execution, and data driven decision making.

This role evolves core responsibilities identified in the Manager - Products and Marketing-including budgeting, vendor oversight, content coordination, digital platforms, and team leadership-through a Marketing Operations lens focused on execution excellence and operational rigor.

Key Responsibilities Marketing Operations & Execution
  • Own the end to end operational planning and execution of marketing initiatives, campaigns, and programs to ensure they are delivered on time, on budget, and at high quality.
  • Develop and maintain standardized marketing workflows, processes, and best practices across campaign planning, content production, events, digital, and communications.
  • Partner with marketing leadership to translate strategy into executable marketing plans and operational roadmaps.
Budgeting, Vendors & Resource Management
  • Develop, manage, and monitor the marketing operations budget, allocating resources and approving expenditures within scope of responsibility.
  • Manage external vendors, agencies, and suppliers related to marketing technology, creative services, events, print, digital, and merchandise.
  • Oversee inventory and fulfillment processes related to marketing materials and online stores or branded merchandise platforms.
Technology, Tools & Platforms
  • Manage and optimize marketing technology platforms, including CMS/website tools, email and webinar platforms, social media management tools, and marketing asset systems.
  • Partner with internal teams and external vendors to maintain website content, digital assets, and integrations across marketing systems.
  • Ensure consistent brand standards are applied across digital channels, campaigns, and materials.
Campaigns, Content & Programs
  • Support planning and execution of campaigns, events, trade shows, webinars, email communications, and industry publications.
  • Coordinate the creation, production, and distribution of marketing content, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment with business objectives.
  • Maintain oversight of social media operations, including content scheduling, quality control, and performance monitoring.
Leadership & Collaboration
  • Lead, coach, and develop marketing team members, including hiring, onboarding, performance management, and professional development.
  • Collaborate cross functionally with Sales, Product, Leadership, and Operations teams to ensure alignment and execution effectiveness.
  • Organize and facilitate marketing planning and operations meetings with stakeholders and leadership.
Qualifications Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of marketing experience, including at least two (2) years in a leadership or people management role, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge & Skills
  • Strong understanding of marketing operations, campaign execution, and marketing program management principles.
  • Experience managing budgets, vendors, and operational processes in a marketing environment.
  • Proficiency with digital marketing tools, content management systems, email platforms, and social media management tools.
  • Ability to develop scalable processes, manage competing priorities, and meet critical deadlines.
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills; ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams, collaborate cross functionally, and operate with sound judgment and discretion.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT:

Work is done remotely in a secure in-home office setting. Work is subject to travel for training and/or conferences on rare occasions.
