Quality Control Chemist, Salem New Hampshire

Job Description:Due to our recent expansion, we are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented QC Chemist to join our Quality Control team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a sterile fill-finish manufacturing environment and a strong background in analytical chemistry. This role is critical to ensuring the quality and safety of our products.

Compensation: $65,000.00 - 75,000.00 per year

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine and non-routine analytical testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.
  • Conduct analytical techniques including HPLC, FTIR, and UV-Vis spectroscopy.
  • Develop and validate analytical methods in compliance with regulatory guidelines.
  • Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment and instruments.
  • Document and review test results accurately and promptly.
  • Investigate and resolve any quality issues or deviations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product development and manufacturing processes.
  • Ensure compliance with GMP, GLP, and other regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a QC role within a sterile fill finish manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in analytical techniques such as HPLC, UV-Vis, and FTIR.
  • Strong understanding of GMP, GLP, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.
